Online MA Wastewater Operator Exam

The Massachusetts Board of Certification of Wastewater Treatment Facilities certification examinations are now being offered on line at 3 different locations within Massachusetts. These exams will be delivered at AMP centers and are administered by appointment only. A current list of AMP Assessment centers, including addresses and driving directions may be viewed at www.goamp.com.

To schedule an exam online:

Go to www.goamp.com. and select “candidates” from the AMP home page.

1. Chose a category select “water/wastewater” from the pull down menu.

2. Chose a program select “Massachusetts Wastewater” from the pull down menu.

3. Chose an examination select the examination listed from the pull down menu.

4. Select the “register for exam” option. Read the statements concerning identification
requirements, security of exam and candidate handbook. After reviewing the information select
“yes” and “continue” to continue the registration process.

5. First time users of this website should select the “I am a New User”.

6. Enter the information required to create an account. Then select “continue”.

7. A screen will confirm the account has been successfully established. Select “continue”.

8. Select a location from the list that is displayed. Select the date and time. Submit your request by clicking on the “schedule” link.

9. A confirmation will appear and an email will be sent confirming your appointment with
directions to the AMP site.

10. You may go to the “My Home Page” to review scheduled exams and allows you to reschedule if
needed. Two business days notice is required for rescheduling.

You may schedule by phone by calling AMP at 800-345-6559. This is a toll free number and is answered between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm (Eastern Time) Monday through Thursday and 7:00 am and 7:00 pm on Friday and 8:30am and 5:00 pm on Saturday.
